WHAT ARE MY CHOICES?

Fiberglass Batt & LooseFill Fiberglass
Installs quickly, finishes smoothly…

Suburban Insulation relies on the trusted Owens Corning brand for its long-standing quality fiberglass and loose-fill insulation products. This well-known quality solution is a popular choice among homeowners because of its universal appeal:

  • Very easy to install
  • Extremely cost effective
  • High R-values provide the levels of protection you need

HOMEOWNER BENEFITS

  • Noncorrosive: Doesn’t require fire-retardant chemical – which corrode pipes, electrical equipment or metal attachments
  • Noncombustible: Meets all required model building codes
  • Won’t Absorb Moisture: Moisture reduces insulation effectiveness; glass fibers resist moisture
  • Doesn’t Support Mold Growth: Inorganic glass fibers do not support fungus or mold growth, no rotting or decay and won’t support an environment for vermin

Basement Wall Insulation

In today’s well insulated home, an uninsulated basement condition can contribute up to two-thirds of the home’s total energy loss!

A top-quality basement wall insulation system, FibreFast is faced with a durable white reinforced material with 30lb kraft backing. FibreFast has a specially reinforced stapling tab at the top to allow the product to be stapled to the sill plate to be easily hung down over your basement wall. FibreFast is available in half or full wall blankets in R-Value 11.

Attic Access Insulation

Energy Shield by PES is capable of sealing the entire opening by mounting to the inner framework where the disappearing stairway frame is attached. The unit has a low profile at the entrance opening to eliminate trip hazards when entering the attic. The Energy Shield I is made of flexible foil foam foil materials that are environmentally safe. The foil acts as a radiant barrier to reflect up to 97% of radiant energy.

Owens Corning’s PINKCap Attic Stair Insulator is a molded polystyrene (EPS) foam cover for attic stair openings. The product is light weight and easy to install and remove. It is a quick do-it-yourself product, reducing heat loss in the winter and heat gain in the summer. PINKCap® insulator is available in one standard size to fit all attic stairwell openings. The polystyrene foam material is 2 3/4 inches thick, and provides an average R-value of 11, when installed properly.

  • Helps prevent airflow through the attic stair opening, reducing heat loss/gain that could result in lower heating and cooling costs.
  • Lightweight, easy to install and a manageable do-it-yourself project. Insert PINKCap® insulator through the attic opening and slide into place. No assembly needed.
  • Gives added insulating value to attic spaces, providing an R-value of 11, when positioned on a flat surface with no air leakage.
  • Made from durable dust-free expanded polystyrene foam.
